Tuition Deposit Payments

When you receive an acceptance offer for a 麻豆精品 program, you must pay a tuition deposit to hold your seat in that program.
If the tuition deposit is not paid, your seat will be canceled and offered to another applicant.
The tuition deposit for all Canadian applicants is $250, and is not refundable. The tuition deposit is credited toward your tuition cost.
The tuition deposit must be paid using your Dashboard. Payments received through PayMyTuition will not confirm your seat in a program. If you have any questions about your tuition deposit, please contact admissions@hollandcollege.com.

Tuition, lab fees and other fees are listed on the program pages on this website under the Tuition and Fees tab. You will also see a note to indicate whether the tuition is course based or program based.

Program Based Tuition

You must pay 50% of tuition and lab fees and 100% of other fees by the first day of the program, and 50% of tuition and lab fees by the first day of the second half of the program.

Course Based Tuition

Tuition and lab fees are based on the number of courses you take each semester. All fees, including any additional fees and student union dues, are due in full by the first day of the semester.

Tuition Deposit Payments

When you receive an acceptance offer for a 麻豆精品 program, you must pay a tuition deposit to hold your seat in that program. Without this, the seat will remain available to other applicants.
You have three weeks from the date of your acceptance to confirm your intention to attend 麻豆精品 and receive a Provincial Letter of Attestation. If the tuition deposit is not paid, your seat will be canceled and offered to another applicant.
The tuition deposit for all international applicants is $5,000 and is not refundable unless you have cancelled your Provincial Letter of Attestation prior to its expiry date or been denied a study permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Some conditions apply, please see Refund Policy below for more information.

TUITION DEPOSIT REFUND POLICY

The tuition deposit for international students is usually non-refundable; however, students may receive a refund, minus an administrative fee of $500 if the following conditions are met:

For programs starting in the Fall semester

Provincial Letter of Attestation (PAL) and program application cancelled prior to PAL expiry date, or
Study permit refusal letter received within 30 days of issuance and application canceled prior to August 1.

Cancellations after August 1 are not entitled to a refund, regardless of study permit status.

For programs starting in the Winter semester

Provincial Letter of Attestation (PAL) and program application cancelled prior to PAL expiry date, or
Study permit refusal letter received within 30 days of issuance and application canceled prior to December 1.

Cancellations after December 1 are not entitled to a refund, regardless of study permit status.

PAYMENT OF TUITION AND OTHER FEES

International student fees are included in the cost of international tuition as listed on each program page. All international students also pay the International Student Medical Fee and the International Health and Dental Fee through the student union. These fees are due by the first day of the program.
In order to opt out of the International Health and Dental Fee, at the time of registration students must provide a copy of adequate health and dental insurance that is acceptable to the college (Health and Dental Insurance for International Students purchased from a Canadian provider).
In order to opt out of the International Student Medical Fee, students must provide a valid Province of PEI Health Card.
All other applicable program tuition, fees and associated costs will remain the same as that charged to Canadian applicants (see above).

All Applicants

FINANCIAL HOLD DUE TO NON-PAYMENT OF TUITION AND FEES

If your tuition and fees are not paid on time, you will be charged a $50 late fee along with interest charges, and a financial hold will be placed on your account.

Students with financial holds placed on their accounts cannot return to their program or apply for another program until their account is paid. Their Colleague Self-Service/Webadvisor and SAM accounts are disabled, and they cannot attend classes until they have paid the outstanding balance on their account.

Missing classes could prevent you from being able to complete your program, as critical course work may be missed.

If you are removed from your program, you will be required to vacate your residence room within 48 hours.

You must contact the Finance Department to have the financial hold removed from your account and to have access reinstated. This may take 1-2 business days.

STUDENT HEALTH AND DENTAL PLAN

Having access to a comprehensive health and dental plan is a great benefit of becoming a full-time student at 麻豆精品. Your student health plan is facilitated by the 麻豆精品 Student Union and paid for by fees included with your tuition payments.

RESIDENCE CONFIRMATION FEE AND REFUND POLICY

Residence Confirmation Fee

The residence confirmation fee is $250 and is required to hold your spot for September.
Once you receive an offer to Residence, you will have three weeks to pay the confirmation fee to confirm your place in residence.
If payment is not received by the due date, your offer will be cancelled and given to another applicant.
The confirmation fee is credited toward your residence fees.
This fee is non-refundable.

RESIDENCE FEE REFUNDS

All students living in residence have signed the accommodations agreement, which states that they are obligated to pay for residence from September until their program end date. All refunds will be approved by the Chief Financial Officer of the college or a delegated authority.

Our refund policy is as follows:

BEFORE OCT 31: If you leave residence before Oct 31, you will be required to pay for the first semester in full, but you will be eligible for a refund of 50% for the second semester. If you do not owe any money to the college and you do not have any damage in your room, your security deposit will be returned.

AFTER OCT 31: If you leave residence after Oct 31, you will be required to pay for the full year and you will not be eligible for any refund. If you do not owe any money to the college and you do not have any damage in your room, your security deposit will be returned.

PLEASE NOTE
A student will not be eligible for a refund at any time if they are evicted from residence.

SKILLSPEI

SkillsPEI is a division of the Department of Economic Growth, Tourism and Culture, established to manage the delivery of employment and training programming funded by the Canada-Prince Edward Island Labour Market Development Agreements.

To be eligible for Training PEI funding, individuals must meet the following basic criteria:

be unemployed and legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or permanent resident);
have a current claim for Employment Insurance benefits;
have a Return to Work Action Plan that identifies (a) lack of marketable skills as an employment barrier and (b) the need for new or additional occupational skills in order to find employment.
